The University of East London has been pioneering futures since 1898: from the 2nd Industrial Revolution through to where we are now, the 4th. We are a careers-led university, dedicated to supporting our students to develop the skills, emotional intelligence and creativity needed to thrive in a constantly changing world.

At the University of East London our mission is to prepare our students for the jobs of the future. As an award-winning university, we have been doing that proudly for over 125 years – from the 2nd Industrial Revolution through to where we are now – the 4th Industrial Revolution.

The University is located in one of the world’s most multi-cultural areas. We have an exciting, inclusive and forward-thinking learning community of 18 thousand-plus students representing over 140 different nationalities.

The University of East London provides one of the top campus experiences in London, with riverside halls, world-class sporting facilities which hosted Team USA during the 2012 Olympics, and a supportive community where everyone is encouraged to become leaders, contributors to society and agents for change.

The below video features a virtual HE Fair to give you an idea of what the UEL campus has to offer.

Opportunities for Year 10 and 11 | Skill Up

The Skill Up project seeks to arm students with the skills and knowledge for educational success.  Students will participate in a series of after school webinars which will include time management, resilience, discovering strengths, critical thinking, employability and academic tasters in a number of different subjects.  Each webinar will be up to 45 mins in length and will be run on UEL’s MS Live Events platform.

Students can take part in just one webinar or a series – those who apply to take part in the project are expected to attend at least 4 sessions. On completion of the project, the students who have attended at least four sessions, completed the evaluations after each session and submit their worksheets will be sent a certificate and UEL goodies. They will also be entered into a prize draw for a £50 Amazon voucher, £30 Amazon voucher, or £15.00 Amazon voucher
