Readie construction was established in February 2008 and has grown to a £400m turnover company. Our growth has been achieved without any business development resource by focussing on building strong relationships and repeat business with our clients.

We are 100% Employee owned, and at the time of transition we were the largest employee-owned construction business in the UK. We currently have no external debt facilities and have consistently operated with zero borrowing.

We undertake projects from £5m to £100m Constructing over 6m square feet of lettable space annually, in the industrial, logistic, retail and infrastructure sectors.

Specialising in the industrial, logistic, retail and infrastructure sectors, Readie design and build high specification developments for high profile clients including, GLP, Goodman, DP World and big brand occupiers such as Amazon, DHL, and DPD to name just a few.

We employ enthusiastic, energetic staff of the very highest calibre and empower these talented individuals to make key decisions and fully participate in the process of managing and delivering projects. We work very hard to ensure our people are developed, mentored and cared for to ensure our continuing success.

At Readie, we recognise the importance of career development, the culture in our business is to work hard to continually improve the quality of our people. To this end we support many staff with day release at College and University, We support our staff by sponsoring them through the further and higher education process. We also provide mentoring and support for our staff when undertaking NVQ’s.

In addition, we encourage our staff to achieve professional chartered status with relevant bodies including the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE).

We are able to demonstrate a successful track record in developing individuals careers; many people in senior positions in the business have progressed their career from junior or starter positions.
