If you are a young person aged between 16 to 30, the Princes Trust programme has a wide offering of courses and support for people in Thurrock, and areas across Essex. It helps:

- develop new skills
The Prince’s Trust offerings are only for individuals who are not in employment, education or training (NEET).
GET INTO Programme
The Prince's Trust provides free 'on-the-job' courses that will help you gain valuable experience. Working with some of the largest employers in the country, across a range of sectors, the Get Into programmes will help improve your CV and interview techniques. Some courses include a trial shift with potential job offers available at the end.

Virtual Achieve
Eligibility: Age 11 - 19 and not in full time employment or education.

Our Personal Development and Employability skills programme will give young people the opportunity to learn new skills and gain an ofqual accredited qualification.

Development Awards
Small cash awards to help young people who are struggling to access an education, work or training opportunity due to lack of funds. Typically £100 to £150 - the award can be used to fund things such as travel, equipment, DBS checks in order to allow a young person to take up a job, college or training offer.
